On October 4, a festive concert dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Porech secondary school was held at the Cultural Center of the agricultural town of Porechye. For a round date - the way from a small one-story wooden building to a spacious three-story modern school. For world history, this may be just a brief moment, but for us it is a whole life.

The anniversary of the school is not only a kind of historical milestone, but also, as it were, a milestone that makes it possible to evaluate the path traveled, remember with a kind word those who dedicated their lives, their pedagogical talent to their native school, and, of course, clarify plans for the future.

The hall brought together veteran teachers, school graduates, guests from the Republic of Poland (the schools have been cooperating for more than 15 years), residents of Porechye., We remembered everyone and the heads of the institution, and veterans of pedagogical work, and of course famous graduates.

The jubilee evening dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the school turned out to be incredibly warm and emotional. The performances of the guests on the stage were followed by bright concert numbers prepared by students, graduates of different years and teachers of the school.

As at any anniversary, gifts are always given, and our school was strewn with them. The education department of the Grodno regional executive committee presented an interactive whiteboard and a projector, the village council - dishes for the dining room. And, of course, many pleasant words and wishes were heard.

Employees of the educational institution and veterans of pedagogical work that evening were deservedly awarded with certificates of honor, letters of thanks and gifts.

Despite its advanced age, the school remains young. It is the cultural center of the entire neighborhood. 120 years is quite a respectable age. Over the years, a rich experience has been accumulated, good traditions have developed. The school has authority. The new generation of teachers and students is an educated, thinking, energetic generation. A generation that, keeping the best traditions, brings fresh ideas to school.
